The Economist reviews Pet Food Politics
September 5, 2008
I don’t do this sort of thing very often on this site so please indulge me a little. Today’s issue of The Economist features Pet Food Politics as its lead Books & Arts review. I recorded a podcast to go with it and that’s available too. Enjoy! (I did).

Thanks for the heads up. Good review!

“Pet Food Politics” is such an important book to read-(I just finished it) -especially for those that were lucky enough to NOT have a beloved pet affected. I followed the events of March 2007 and since very closely having had two of the “chihuahuas” in early February and early March, I am lucky to still have one with me, but for those that did not, this is a wonderful timeline and source of what was happening–and more importantly–what was not happening….and how this was the “perfect storm”…Thank you for writing this and I hope this opens the eyes of those that think our food supply, for our pets and the rest of us, is “in a good place”…
